Details: The Department of Art History at the University of California Irvine seeks a non-tenure-track Instructor in South Asian Art (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka) for Spring Quarter 2012 (28 March - 15 June).

The Instructor will teach two undergraduate courses: one upper-division lecture class on a topic related to South Asian art and one lower-division survey of the art of India with TAs. The latter is part of the three-quarter undergraduate survey of Asian art (the other two quarters covering China and Japan) and fulfills a Humanities breadth requirement for UCI undergraduates.
